Coordination of Homelessness Response System
Coordinating the efforts of multiple agencies to combat homelessness in the Greater Hartford Area through efficient means. Developing a system of resource and information sharing that will allow for different agencies to effectively reach their goals.

- Diversion System - Developing a first response system that tries to prevent people from becoming homeless through negotiation with landlords, working with families to remain unified, and counseling and mediation efforts.
- Common Intake and Coordinated Entry - Creating a common process for shelter and housing programs to conduct a needs assessment, triage, and referral to appropriate programs and services, and developing common tools for this system. This system will also better document the precise need for various types of housing programs and services in the community.
- Common Performance Measures - Working to create quantifiable measures for tracking progress towards initiatives to end chronic, family, youth, and veteran homelessness in Greater Hartford.
- Data-Sharing Agreement - Creating efficiency mechanisms between agencies that have common clients in order to dissolve the need to duplicate date collection and needs assessments.
